About
The Lagos Waste Forum (LWF) is a High Level Citizens Forum on Waste Reduction, an initiative of SWEEP Foundation to create strategies to drive a Circular Economy in Nigeria. Aptly tagged the “Future of Waste Forum” it has drawn the widest variety of sustainability professionals. The forum is focused on the active participation of individuals, the community, the private sector and the public sector in collectively tackling the attendant issues of waste and its management in Lagos State. LWF will creatively engage foremost stakeholders such as political, business, traditional, opinion and other leaders of the society to collectively drive the conversation on all that concerns waste. It will also work towards moving Lagos in the direction of reduction in its waste generation and eventually a circular economy where nothing is wasted.
